In order to begin behind-the-wheel lessons you must be at least 18 years old and have either: a valid Illinois driver's license, a valid international driver's license or a valid instruction permit issued by the Illinois Secretary of State.

#Rate quoted applies to road tests taken at Secretary of State Facilities:

Chicago North and Chicago West . Other locations require additional charge.

Also road tests taken on Saturdays require an additional $20 fee.

Any additional time spent at the Secratary of State to resolve documentation, eligibility or license issues will be charged at an hourly rate of $40 ($40 minimum).

Students can choose to reschedule road test for another time so they can resolve issues idependently but will still be required to pay $40 for sevices rendered.

*Additional charges apply if picked up outside of set radius of school. Purchaser has up to six months (from date of purchase) to complete prepaid lessons and road test , afterwhich any unused lessons and/or road test will be forfeited. Unused lessons and unused road tests are non-refundable. Please call for details.
